Sales Recruit UK is a specialist construction sales recruitment agency working across Scotland from our base in the Central Belt. Construction product sales is a market of its own — specification selling to architects and engineers, distribution through merchants, and direct sales to contractors all run on different cycles, and the salesperson who handles one well doesn’t automatically handle the others. We recruit for manufacturers of building products, merchants, distributors and the wider supply chain.
Construction demand runs the length of the country, and we run searches into the main centres: the dense manufacturing and contractor base around Glasgow and Lanarkshire, the commercial and residential development market in Edinburgh, and the activity around Aberdeen and Dundee. The work overlaps with engineering and industrial sales — electrical, lighting and HVAC product sales in particular — and we place across all of them.
We hire from area sales managers and specification sales through to Sales Director level, across field sales, key accounts, business development and commercial leadership. Every brief is run by a senior consultant who scopes and shortlists it personally.
