Sales Recruit UK is a specialist sales recruitment agency. We work across Dundee, Angus and the wider Tayside region for businesses where commercial fit matters as much as sales experience — life sciences companies, technology firms, engineering businesses and manufacturers hiring salespeople into roles that demand real understanding of how their market actually buys.
Dundee has reinvented itself around life sciences, digital technology and biomedical research, anchored by its universities and a growing cluster of med-tech, software and games studios, alongside a long-standing engineering and advanced manufacturing base across Tayside. Our placement work in the area concentrates on Technology & SaaS, Healthcare & MedTech and Engineering — sectors where the recruiter needs to understand the route to market, the buyer, the sales cycle and the technical content as well as the salesperson does. We hire from individual contributors through to Sales Director and Country Lead level, across field sales, key accounts, business development, technical sales and commercial leadership.
Every brief is run by a senior consultant. The fifty-plus years of combined sales recruitment experience in the firm sit on the search itself, not on the introduction call. A research function supports the sourcing work, but the consultant who scopes your brief is the consultant who shortlists. There are no account managers and no junior researchers between you and the senior consultant on the brief.
Dundee supports our technology sales recruitment in Scotland.
We build shortlists around how your business actually sells — your customers, your route to market, your sales cycle and your buyer. Three or four candidates who fit, each one delivered with the SRUK Fit Score that scores them against your specific brief.
We work with sales professionals across Dundee, Angus and the wider Tayside region. Live vacancies are listed on our jobs board, but most of our placements come from conversations with candidates we already know. Send your CV and we will be in touch when something fits.
Most sales hires fail because the role was never properly understood — by the recruiter, by the hiring manager, or both. Dundee’s shift from a traditional industrial economy to life sciences, digital and biomedical means many of its strongest commercial roles now sit at the intersection of technical product knowledge and consultative selling — and those hires go badly wrong when the recruiter can’t read both the science and the sale. Before we approach the market, we build a brief around how your business actually sells, then run a structured search against that brief. Every shortlisted candidate is scored against six brief-specific dimensions and arrives in the SRUK CV — a single document combining the candidate’s career history, the SRUK Fit Score, and consultant commentary on each scoring dimension. Three or four candidates who fit, all comparable like-for-like, all read in thirty minutes rather than an afternoon.
