Sales Recruit UK is a specialist sales recruitment agency. Aberdeen sits at the centre of the UK energy industry, with concentrations across oil and gas, offshore wind, decommissioning and the engineering supply chain that serves them. Our placement work in the area concentrates on Energy & Renewables and Engineering — sectors where the recruiter needs to understand the route to market, the buyer, the sales cycle and the technical content as well as the salesperson does. We hire from individual contributors through to Sales Director and Country Lead level, across field sales, key accounts, business development, technical sales and commercial leadership.
Every brief is run by Robert McGougan or Derek Anderson personally. The fifty-plus years of combined sales recruitment experience in the firm sit on the search itself, not on the introduction call. A research function supports the sourcing work, but the consultant who scopes your brief is the consultant who shortlists. There are no account managers and no junior researchers between you and the senior consultant on the brief.
Most sales hires fail because the role was never properly understood — by the recruiter, by the hiring manager, or both.
