Sales Recruit UK — long known across Scotland as Sales Recruit Scotland — is a specialist sales recruitment agency with its head office in Bellshill, in the heart of North Lanarkshire. Lanarkshire is our doorstep, not a territory we cover from a distance: we know the industrial estates along the M74 and M8, the manufacturers and distributors in Hamilton and Coatbridge, and the salespeople who actually move product in this market.
Lanarkshire’s commercial base is built on construction products, engineering and fabrication, industrial and process manufacturing and the energy supply chain. Our placement work here concentrates on Construction, Engineering, Industrial & Manufacturing and Energy & Renewables sales — including technical and sales-engineer roles where the recruiter has to understand the route to market, the buyer and the technical content as well as the salesperson does. We hire from individual contributors through to Sales Director level, across field sales, key accounts, business development, technical sales and commercial leadership.
Every brief is run by a senior consultant. The fifty-plus years of combined sales recruitment experience in the firm sit on the search itself, not on the introduction call — there are no account managers and no junior researchers between you and the consultant who scopes and shortlists your brief.
We build shortlists around how your business actually sells — your customers, your route to market, your sales cycle and your buyer. Three or four candidates who fit, each delivered with the SRUK Fit Score against your specific brief. Find out more.
We work with sales professionals across Lanarkshire and the wider Central Belt. Live vacancies are on our jobs board, but most placements come from conversations with candidates we already know. Send your CV and we'll be in touch when something fits.
Most sales hires fail because the role was never properly understood — by the recruiter, by the hiring manager, or both. Before we approach the market we build a brief around how your business actually sells, then run a structured search against it. Every shortlisted candidate is scored against six brief-specific dimensions and arrives in the SRUK CV — career history, the SRUK Fit Score and consultant commentary in a single document. Read about our process.
We recruit across the wider Scottish market too, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Kilmarnock and Ayrshire and Aberdeen, and nationally from our Scotland hub. If you’re hiring salespeople in Lanarkshire, contact the team for an initial conversation.
