This is a multinational manufacturer with real weight behind it – a premium lifestyle brand for the home, trading in more than a dozen countries and still expanding. This isn’t a name nobody’s heard of, and it isn’t a business chasing volume on price. It got to this scale by staying premium and by earning genuine trust with the trade partners who sell it on. The UK arm is growing fast inside that wider international group, and this Scotland patch sits right in the middle of that push.
Forget the price-chasing, volume-driven grind. This role is built on relationships: you’re out on the road, in front of the specialist retail teams who put this product in front of customers, training them, backing them, making sure they reach for it first. No script, no rigid playbook – you run your patch your way, and this is a business that actually invests in an Account Manager’s own ideas rather than just nodding along to them. You’ll pick up the ropes fast working alongside an existing, well-established territory Account Manager as the patch is split between you, rather than starting from a standing start.
You’re the Account Manager people are genuinely glad to see walk in, not just tolerate. You’ve run your own territory before, been trusted to get on with it, and you’d rather be judged on the strength of what you’ve built than a script someone handed you. If you’ve sold a premium or lifestyle-led product through a retail or trade network, that’s a strong plus – but what this business wants most is someone who can win people over and hold their trust. Field sales, territory management or business development background, this is a bigger, better-backed brand to build your name on next.
£35,000-£45,000 basic, with a 10% on-target bonus that climbs as high as 40% of salary for genuine overachievement. Take a Tesla Model 3 as your company car, or £850 a month if you’d rather choose your own – either way, fuel card included and every mile of private mileage covered. Go electric and the home charger and the electricity to run it are covered too. Add a £20/day lunch allowance, 25 days holiday plus stats plus a day off for your birthday, and a rewards scheme that includes free gym membership on top.
