Our client is an established business operating within the construction supply sector and forms part of a larger privately backed group with diverse commercial interests.
The group continues to invest heavily in developing its presence across Scotland and has ambitious plans to strengthen its relationships with contractors, housebuilders and commercial developers.
With strong market positioning and established relationships across the construction sector, the business is well placed to continue expanding its footprint across the Central Belt.
This is a field-based Business Development role focused on winning and developing project opportunities with contractors.
You will work across the Central Belt building relationships with contractors, developers and project teams while identifying opportunities on construction projects.
The role combines new business development with account management responsibilities and involves:
• Building relationships with contractors and developers
• Identifying and securing project opportunities
• Managing enquiries and quotations through to order
• Developing repeat business with established accounts
• Growing territory revenue through contractor relationships
This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to build a strong territory within a growing organisation.
You will already be working in a construction sales environment where you deal directly with contractors.
Your background may include selling construction products, building materials or specialist solutions into the contractor market.
You will be someone who:

• Understands project-based selling within construction
