A long-established business, that is well-respected and has a long-standing sales account base of professional contractors across the country. This is a privately-owned, cash rich business that enjoys a great reputation and has envious knowledge and expertise in the Solar PV market. All of their business is done with professionals, working with specialist contractors, house-builders, social housing contractors and local authorities.
You will have a proven track record within the solar PV market with working knowledge of panels, invertors and fixing systems. You’ll understand and be aware of the professional contracting market within the space and have the commercial, relationship management and general sales skills required to grow and take charge of a business unit over time.
Working with a healthy project pipeline, you’ll be the sales focal point for all stakeholders across a healthy bank of projects. Working with established contractors, housing developing, social housing landlords and local authorities, your primary aim will be to drive sales growth through providing support, helping to shape product selection and specification.
This is a multi-faceted role that will also see you manage supplier relationships and quickly establish full autonomy for managing the Solar PV division across Scotland. To that end you can expect to enjoy generous support from established procurement, logistics and fulfilment teams to give you full end-to-end control of the solar projects business over time.
This is very much a development role, that will provide you with scope to grow with the business and establish yourself as a department head as you successfully manage the solar business to its next level.
