An exciting, new & disruptive force in the telecoms and broadband market. This is a well-funded, well-supported, new player within the field with an aggressive customer acquisition plan, that has resulted in massive uptake from traditional players in this marketplace. Established for a number of years, they are now at a tipping point in their growth strategy, that requires a sales & marketing expert to help shape their direct sales strategy, telesales infrastructure and marketing plans.
Telecoms experience is not required in order to be considered for this role. What’s more important is that you can demonstrate a track record at a similar level within a direct sales organisation. It’s likely that you’ve worked as a Sales Director or National Sales Manager within utilities, home improvements, telco or similar where retail customer acquisition is driven by a combination of door-to-door, telesales and social media marketing.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Sales & Marketing Director who understands direct selling to help shape the direction of the business. Reporting directly to the CEO and working alongside the MD, you can expect to have full autonomy & control over the sales plan to deliver ambitious customer acquisition numbers.
You will take control of an established direct sales force which includes regional managers and direct sales personnel, providing them with strategy, direction and methodologies to deliver success. You’ll help further develop an established telesales team, recruit department heads, set targets and manage the complete operation. In addition to this you’ll help create and deliver marketing campaigns, positioning the offering on quality & price to increase brand awareness and support sales uptake.
