A progressive UK manufacturer with a track record of success in global markets. They are a cash-rich organisation with sustainability at the forefront of their offering which has helped them secure several large contracts with global leaders in their chosen vertical markets. Recent investment will ensure further growth and as such, they are looking to hire a Sales Director to lead their next phase of growth.
This role will give you a structured career path to Managing Director within two to three years.
It’s likely that you are a proven Business Development Director or Sales Director with a track record of winning new logo’s and exceeding your sales quota. Experience of building a BD team is a prerequisite. Knowledge of the Foodservice sector is preferred but not essential.
Initially, this is a hands-on role where you will play an active role in securing new contracts. As you start to gain traction, you will then start to build your BDM team across the UK and Europe. You will have plenty of support from a lead-gen, marketing and social media perspective to provide your team with qualified leads. They provide an end-to-end solution that is unlike anything in today’s market.
This is a realistic opportunity to develop a brand in a market that has a strong desire for the products that you manufacture. You will find the culture to be open, friendly and collaborative. Don’t expect to find a large corporate environment with extensive teams for each business department. They are at the early stages of UK growth with turnover of around £25m this year. The plan is to double revenue each year for the next few years at least.
