With sizeable market share and sales of £72million last year, they are a long-standing, stable business with a strong balance sheet.
This is a company that is continually investing in new product development to meet the needs of a fast-moving market.
Bucking the trend of wider economic concerns in the aftermath of COVID-19 this particular company has thrived throughout the lockdown period has recently completed a competitor acquisition to keep up with product demand.
Experience and understanding of “trade re-sellers” such as builders merchants, catering suppliers, engineering parts suppliers (MRO etc), plumbing & heating spares, electrical supplies, coatings etc. is a pre-requisite. We are happy to consider experience of any vertical market within a trade merchant/wholesaler environment.
What is paramount is your ability to demonstrate your past experience of fulfilling a similar national sales role and one where you have helped grow revenue of a particular product line over a consistent period of time.
This is a senior sales and key account development role with a national footprint. You will be tasked with working with the regional area sales manager teams throughout the country to identify, manage and grow accounts who have the potential and appetite to stock and supply a specialist range of bespoke products.
The business has heavily invested in training and support infrastructure and personnel as well as a sizeable marketing investment in this £100million market.
This is a strategic role, one where you will have the gravitas to drive and motivate ASMs to support you as well the experience to devise and implement growth plans with key accounts.
