First and foremost you must have a broad technical understanding and experience of commercial roofing systems such as single ply and/or liquid plastics. It’s likely that you are currently working within the roofing industry either as a technical sales engineer for another manufacturer or contractor or that you’re currently a surveyor with the people skills required to transition into a technical sales role.
Working from home and managing a bank of projects throughout the East of Scotland, you’ll have complete control and autonomy over new-build and refurbishment projects throughout your sales territory.
This is very much a technically-biased hands-on role that will see you split your time between a drawing office and on-site surveying a roof-top. You’ll interface with a wide variety of stakeholders and decision makers from private practice architects, contractors, local authorities and commercial developers.
